Lazy Summer Weekend

We had a relaxing weekend around over here. It started out on Friday morning with a trip to the market. I ran into my girlfriend and her baby there and we found purchased some yummy produce. I love getting my weekly produce from the farmer's market; it is the best, the freshest and it helps out local farmers, and that's a win-win. I got off work early because of a power outage and got to spend the rest of the night with my boys. 

Saturday morning I finished my homework early and got my 6 mile run in. After that, I got to spend the day with my friend Desiree and her sweet baby girl. We planned on going to a bunch of nurseries but it was stormy so we stayed inside and caught up on girl talk. 

Sunday morning I got out of the house early to get a bunch of homework done and then went to church. I went home picked up the boys and we headed out for a pool party at my in-law's. We swam, ate, soaked up the sun and played countless games of pool volleyball. It was a lazy summer weekend and it was exactly what we needed.
