This morning when my alarm went off I wanted to
throw it turn it off. I finally got up after pressing snooze
three times and ran out the door. I met my friend Sarah at the restaurant we work at and followed her to the base of Candy Mountain. She has has hiked Candy a few times so she warned me ahead of times that it was going to make our butts burn.-
prefect.
Most of the time, I don't eat before I go work out in morning but sometimes I drink a protein shake. This morning, I forgot that I brought a protein shake with me until I got to the base- that's when I decided to chug it. I thought I was going to puke it up the whole way up the mountain,
luckily I didn't. I learned my lesson and won't do that again! We made it to the top!

Candy Mountain climbs to 1,391 feet and took us about an hour to hike. I have been hiking Badger Mountain for years and hadn't ever hiked Candy until this morning. It was a really intense full body work out. It has rapid elevation gain and is rated difficult. I left feeling accomplished and full of energy. After getting my cardio out of the way I felt ready to tackle my morning to do list and that's exactly what I did. We had a morning play date with two of my beautiful girlfriends and their littles. Terrance was soo sleepy after he trying to crawl in the crib- that's were he will be for a couple hours. Now I am off to study the day away! If you live in the area and are thinking of trying out Candy HERE is directions to the trail head.
